Best Strawberry Margarita Recipe | Summer Margarita with Mint
The key to making a great margarita is having a great tequila. You want to use a tequila that is a 100% agave tequila. It should say that right on the label. Using fresh strawberries and fresh squeezed limes instead of a mix make this margarita the best strawberry margarita ever! I enjoy margaritas the most in summer time when the weather is hot, but you can enjoy them anytime! The best strawberry margarita needs to be enjoyed year-round.
Frozen Margarita vs. On the Rocks Margarita
So what is the difference between a frozen margarita and a margarita on the rocks? Well, the way they are made makes one colder than the other. That’s about it! Of course, a frozen margarita is slushier than an on the rocks margarita. Margaritas can be shaken with ice and poured in a glass over ice instead of blended with ice. This is a frozen margarita recipe, but you can easily make it on the rocks by leaving out the ice when you blend the ingredients.
