Hello and Welcome to Emily Enchanted! My name is Emily and I love to cook! Food is celebratory. Food is comforting. Food brings people together. The same can be said for cocktails. I like to pretend I am an amateur bartender at home and love to entertain. My favorite kinds of recipes are peanut butter and chocolate desserts, delicious cocktails, and chicken recipes. 

My love of food and entertaining comes from my mother, who raised 7 children and somehow managed to serve us a homemade meal most nights, host family reunions and graduation parties, and is always the hostess with the mostess. 

I have been blogging since 2011 and, after years of honing my blogging and business skills, I have finally found my passion.

Originally from a small town in Wisconsin, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University and my Paralegal Certificate from Milwaukee Area Technical College. I worked as a paralegal in the areas of employment law and family law for 14 years. An opportunity arose for me to pursue blogging full-time and I dove in.

I met my husband in 2007. We live in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I follow the See-food diet, I see food and I eat it. My favorite recipes on Emily Enchanted are Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie, Spicy Chili, and Crack Chicken Dip.

FUN FACT: I am an avid sweeper. A “sweeper” is someone who enters sweepstakes. I have won trips, Super Bowl tickets, a Tonal home gym, and many other fun prizes!
