What You Need for Bacon Broccoli Salad Recipe
1 head of broccoli
1/4 C shaved carrots
1/2 medium onion
1/4 C sunflower seeds
1 C light mayonnaise
2 T sweetener (Swerve or Splenda)
1 T vinegar
6 center-cut bacon slices
How to Make Bacon Broccoli Salad Recipe
To make bacon broccoli salad, you first want to start with the bacon.
Fry bacon in a pan on the oven until crispy. Remove from pan and set on paper towel to remove excess bacon grease. Chop bacon into smaller bits.
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Dice the onion.
In a medium bowl, combine carrots, onion, broccoli, and sunflower seeds.
Mix mayonnaise, sweetener and vinegar together and pour over salad. Mix until combined.
Add bacon and mix.
Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve cold!
