Caramel Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bars are the ultimate treat. Chocolate and peanut butter is the best flavor combination. Add caramel and pretzels to the mix, and this is one amazing sweet and salty dessert. 

This recipe is so easy. All you have to do is melt the ingredients and layer them. Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy!

Pretzel Bars Ingredients

To make this salty and sweet dessert, you will need the following ingredients (go to the recipe below for exact quantities and instructions):

  • Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Chips
  • Kraft Caramel Bits (can be found at Walmart or Target)
  • water
  • Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips (can be found at Walmart or Target)
  • Mini Twist Pretzels

Special Tools Needed

For this Caramel Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bars recipe, you will also need a cookie sheet, parchment paper, and at least 3 microwaveable bowls.

How to Make Pretzel Bars

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Measure and set aside 1/4 cup Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Chips.
  2. Add the rest of the Hershey chocolate chips to a small glass bowl. Melt in microwave in 20 second intervals until melted.
  3. Spread the melted chocolate on the cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Place pretzels on top of the chocolate. They can overlap.
  5. Place the Kraft caramel bits in a bowl with 2 Tablespoons of water and melt in microwave for 1 ½ minutes to 2 minutes. Once melted, drizzle and spread over the pretzels. Let Cool.
  6. Melt the reserved ¼ cup of chocolate chips in the microwave and drizzle over the cooled caramel.
  7. In a separate bowl, melt the Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips in the microwave and drizzle over the cooled caramel.
  8. Let bars cool completely before cutting into pieces. It should take about 10 minutes for the chocolate to harden.
