A bold and energizing Pink Latte is made from beetroot powder and the natural sweetness of agave nectar. This beetroot latte is a great alternative to caffeine and will help you start your morning.
If you are like me, caffeine just makes me jittery, even in small doses. So I always opt for caffeine free beverages. I also don’t like the taste of coffee, so this beet latte is a delicious replacement.
Pink Latte Recipe Ingredients
To make this iced pink latte, you will need the following ingredients (print the recipe below for detailed amounts):
- Beetroot powder: You can purchase beet root powder at your local health foods store or online.
- Agave nectar: The agave nectar adds a natural sweetness to the Iced Pink Latte and is also vegan. You can substitute with maple syrup or honey if you don’t need this recipe to be vegan.
- Water
- Ice
- Coconut milk: We used coconut milk for this recipe as it is the perfect partner to beets. You can use a different plant based milk like oat milk or unsweetened almond milk for another take on this drink.
Special Tool Needed
A milk frother makes whisking ingredients together a breeze!
How to Make a Pink Latte
- Put the beetroot powder, agave nectar and boiling water into a jar. Use a milk frother to combine the ingredients until the powder has dissolved. Alternatively, whisk vigorously.
- Fill a serving glass with ice and pour over the coconut milk.
- Pour in the beetroot then stir.
- Serve and enjoy!
Recipe Notes
- We used 2 heaped teaspoons as directed on the packet of Beetroot powder, you may need more or less depending which powder you use.
- In place of beetroot powder you can use 1/4 cup fresh beetroot juice and omit the water.
FAQs
Beetroot powder is made from dried, ground beets and is available to buy in health food stores or on Amazon.

I love this recipe because I can still have a morning "coffee date" with my husband even though I am not a coffee drinker.
