Pineapple Salsa Ingredients
To make this sweet salsa recipe, you will need the following ingredients (print the recipe below for detailed amounts):
- Pineapple: fresh pineapple is best.
- Strawberries
- Red bell pepper
- Green bell pepper
- Cilantro
- Red onion
- Limes
- Honey
- Cumin
- Salt

How to Make a Pineapple Boat
- Lay the pineapple down and roll it to find the flattest side. This will be your bottom.
- With a serrated knife, cut just above the leaves and slice off the “top” of the boat.
- Carve around the inside of the pineapple with your knife, without poking through the bottom.
- Cut the pineapple into cubes by cutting long slices down the length of the pineapple and then across. Scoop out the pineapple pieces with a spoon.
- Scrape the inside of the hollow pineapple to smooth it out.

How to Make Pineapple Salsa
- Dice the pineapple until it’s reached the consistency of crushed pineapple. Drain slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pineapple pieces and all remaining ingredients. Toss well using a rubber spatula.
- Cover and place inside the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- When done, spoon into the bottom of the hollow pineapple. Top with additional chopped cilantro and serve with tortilla chips.

Storage Instructions
Store this dish in an air-tight container for 2-3 days after preparing.
