This past weekend, I attended the Albuquerque Hopfest beer festival at Isleta Restort & Casino. I love beer festivals and this was my third one this year! I also went to the ABQ Blues & Brews and Rio Rancho Pork & Brew. My boyfriend and I decided to take an Uber to the festival so we could both enjoy sampling.

Albuquerque Hopfest
About a half hour before the doors open, they start checking IDs and stamp your hand, and 15 minutes before the doors open, they let you into a small vendor area so you can get your wristband, pamphlet, and souvenir sampling glass.
I had an Extra Hoppy Hour ticket, so I got to go in an hour before General Admission. I highly recommend the Extra Hoppy Hour! It was nice to get to sample beers from each tent without having to wait in lines. It is also far less crowded. All tickets allow for unlimited samples!
There were about 60 breweries and they each had 3 or more beer to try! Some vendors had games, like ring toss and prize wheels. Many also had free stickers to give away.
There were bands and musicians playing throughout the event on 3 stages, plus one in the VIP Room. There were also artists doing live art throughout the festival and it was so cool to see them at work. Many of them are local artists and I love that this festival supports the community.

Must be age 21 or over to enter the ABQ Hopfest. This event does sell out, so I recommend buying tickets in advance.
