More real. More me. That is the vibe for this blog. My blogging story begins in 2012 when I decided to blog about coupons and savings money and getting free stuff (because who doesn’t love getting free stuff?!). I grew tired of the competition, and there was a lot. I won’t bore you with the details of Facebook algorithms and organic reach. Just know that it got harder to blog. I also have a full time job as a paralegal, so I haven’t been able to grow my blogs as much as I would like. I don’t even have all the proper equipment, but I am learning.
Goodbye, Old Blog, Old Life
I turned my couponing blog into a lifestyle blog. You may have followed me at Rocky Mountain Savings. Not a great name for a lifestyle blog. Also not a great name for a blog now based out of Albuquerque. Wrong mountains! [Although my boyfriend will argue to the death that the Sandias are part of the Rocky Mountains.] So here we are. The Land of Entrapment Enchantment. If you have followed my journey on my old blog, you know that after 10 years of friendship/dating, I moved here to be with my boyfriend. I’m looking forward to sharing my life with you.
Hello, Emily Enchanted
Enchanted, get it? Land of Enchantment. You know, New Mexico! It is truly a different world. Much different than small town Wisconsin where I come from. But, it is beautiful. It is not “in your face” green like home, but it is beautiful in it’s own right. And the FOOD! Plenty more on that later. So what can you expect on this blog? Probably a lot of same ole stuff, with a little more focus. There will definitely be more of me, more organic content, and more and better pictures.
