Add the vodka, syrup, lemon juice and ice to a cocktail shaker and shake for 30-45 seconds.
Strain the martinis into two glasses.
Slice a pear very thinly and garnish drink.

To Make Your Own Simple Syrup: Add 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar to a small pot. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Store up to a week in a mason jar.To Make Your Own Pear-Infused Vodka: Add sliced pear to a mason jar and fill with regular vodka, such as Tito's. Store for 4-5 days and then remove the pears.
