2lbs.Lean ground beef73% lean 27% fat
3/4cupplain dry bread crumbs
3/4cupwater
2eggs
1/3cupketchup
2TablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
Parsleyoptional
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Lipton onion soup mix, bread crumbs, water, eggs, and ketchup. Mix the ingredients really well using your hands or a fork until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Prepare the loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with non-stick spray or oil to prevent sticking. Transfer the meat mixture to the greased loaf pan. Press the meatloaf mixture gently and form it into a loaf shape. Make sure it's evenly distributed in the pan.
Place a piece of aluminum foil over the loaf pan loosely covering it. This will help it retain moisture as it cooks.
Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, remove the foil from the loaf pan, and drain the excess grease off. Keep baking for 15 minutes more or until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 160°F.
Remove the meatloaf from the oven, and let your juicy meatloaf rest in the loaf pan for about 10-15 minutes. This will allow the juices to redistribute and make it easier to slice.
Carefully transfer the meatloaf to a cutting board or a serving platter. brush a thin layer of ketchup on top of the meatloaf and enjoy this Lipton onion soup mix meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes!
