Combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Once combined, mix in the sour cream.
Stir until you form a dough and then roll out onto a very floured surface. Knead 2-3 times before rolling out your dough with a floured rolling pin.
Roll dough out until it’s ¼ inch thick and use a 3 ½ inch round cookie cutter to cut out dough pieces.
Use a pastry brush to brush some of the salted butter on top of each dough round.
Place an Oreo into the center of each dough round and gently wrap each cookie with dough. Pinch the dough edges together to enclose the Oreo completely.
Brush more butter on both sides of the wrapped cookie and then cook in the air fryer for 11 minutes at 320 degrees Fahrenheit. Flip the cookies over and cook for another 4 minutes. You will need to do a few batches to not overcrowd the air fryer. Place only enough Oreos to make 1 layer, non-touching, in each batch.
Once they are finished cooking, sprinkle powdered sugar on the cookies, optional. Plate and serve.
