Banana Crumble combines sweet, ripe bananas with a crunchy oat topping. Baked until golden brown and the caramel is bubbly, it's the perfect treat for anyone with a sweet tooth!
In a large mixing bowl combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, sugar and salt then use a pastry cutter to incorporate the butter until it forms a crumbly mixture then set aside.
In a saucepan, melt the filling ingredients together over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and it starts to bubble, about 8 minutes.
Spread half of the caramel sauce in the base of an 8x8-inch baking dish and layer the banana slices on top.
Drizzle the bananas with the rest of the caramel sauce and top with the prepared crumble.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
Let it cool for 15 minutes before serving.
Serve with ice cream and a dust of powdered sugar if desired.
