Hot Apple Cider
Hot Apple Cider is a delicious warm drink made with mulled spices and fruit. This tasty beverage is best enjoyed on a cool Fall day.

Ingredients

navel orange
quartered or sliced

cinnamon sticks

fresh ginger

whole cloves

Instructions
Place apples, orange, cinnamon sticks, ginger and cloves in a 6 quart stockpot or large dutch oven.
Fill pot with water up to one inch below the top. Heat on medium until starting to bubble. Lower heat and simmer, covered, for one hour.
Remove pot from heat. Discard the solid materials.
Ladle cider into mugs and serve hot, garnished with cinnamon stick or orange slice if desired.
