White Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows covered with sprinkles are the perfect Valentine’s Day dessert. They are easy to make and so sweet!

Valentine’s Day is the perfect occasion for chocolate dipped marshmallows. They are so easy to make and can make the day that more special. If you are feeling adventurous, you could even dip them all the way and make chocolate covered marshmallows

Chocolate Covered Marshmallows Ingredients

To make these Valentine’s marshmallows, you will need the following ingredients (see the recipe card below for exact amounts):

Special Tools Needed

You will also need 12 wood pop sticks (you can find them at Michael’s craft store, too.).

How to Make White Chocolate Marshmallows

  1. Set up a few heavy glasses that the marshmallow pops can stand up in while cooling and setting without touching each other. (Once they have hardened it is fine to have them all standing/stored in the same glass and touching).
  2. Melt the white chocolate according to package instructions, stirring constantly to ensure it doesn’t overheat or burn.
  3. Place the wooden sticks almost all the way through the marshmallows.
  4. Dip the tops of the marshmallows one at a time into the white chocolate. Then hold upright and let it move down the sides a bit.
  5. Quickly cover with sprinkles by sprinkling with your hand. Do not dip directly into the sprinkles.
  6. Set the sticks into the glasses so the marshmallows are on the top and allow them to harden.

Can I Make These Ahead of Time?

These can be enjoyed right away or you can cover and set them in the refrigerator.

Can these be made a day or two in advance?

@Tracey, they can. However, chocolate can oxidize and cause spots on the chocolate. Nothing is wrong with that, it is just not as aesthetic.
