How to Make Strawberry Pops

  1. Cut off the ends of the strawberries. Place a stick through the end of each strawberry.
  2. Place the red chocolate melts in microwave safe dish and microwave in 30 second intervals until melted. Dip the strawberry into the red chocolate all the way down to the stick. When the chocolate hardens, this will help to hold the strawberry in place.
  3. Place the white chocolate melts in another microwave safe dish and microwave in 30 second intervals until melted. After the red chocolate is hardened and set, dip the strawberry in the white chocolate, a little over half way down.
  4. Let the white chocolate cool about halfway (make sure it is still somewhat melted) and dip the end of strawberry in blue sugar.
  5. Repeat with all of the strawberries. Let the strawberries cool completely in the refrigerator.

Recipe Tips

  • Pat the strawberries dry. This will help the chocolate stick better.
  • If you do not have thick strawberries, it may be hard for the stick to stay. Since strawberries are somewhat hollow, there is not much for it to hang on to. You can just dip full strawberries in the chocolate without putting them on a stick. Then lay them on a piece of parchment paper to harden.
